No idea if this is remotely possible with the current state of everything and i assume it would take an instense amount of work and time, but it is DEFINITELY something you should look into if you haven’t already. Creators should be able to publish and sell their own templates directly on ccLeaf, with ccLeaf taking a percentage of each sale.
Instead of only relying on weekly drops, the platform scales the library through the community naturally.
If creators could make high quality templates themselves, and price it themselves so they can be paid for making animations for ccleaf (customers purchase the template, then edit like normal in ccleaf editor), ccleaf takes a cut of the sale, and users get more animations on top of the current weekly additions. Turns users into suppliers, gives ccleaf more revenue stream. people promote their own templates = free marketing for ccleaf and money for the user. win win - very scalable business model.
Subscribers are still paying for the official ccLeaf catalog. Creator templates would be an optional layer for users who want more variety or niche specific animations. Maybe higher tier subscribers get a discount in the marketplace? I fell in love with this idea because niche animations for certain things are very difficult to find.
